Finding a solace and comfort in music is a common rite of passage for adolescents. However, for Leanna Crawford, playing guitar and writing poetry in the bedroom of her family’s home in Washington State was never merely a pastime or a form of creative escape. Songwriting became the way she learned to navigate her faith, insecurities, relationships, and questions about a complicated world.
Today, Crawford’s music has connected well beyond the confines of her bedroom walls with a rapidly growing audience with her debut album, Still Waters, surpassing 425 million streams worldwide and earned over 2 million followers across Spotify, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Her breakout single “Still Waters (Psalm 23)” become a Gold-certified, #1 chart-topping Christian Airplay hit. In 2025, Crawford was honored as the “New Artist of the Year” at the GMA Dove Awards and “Breakout Single of the Year” at the K-LOVE Fan Awards.

As one of contemporary Christian music’s rising voices, Crawford entered a new chapter with the release of her sophomore album, Thank God (on July 24, 2026.) This 11-song collection is a deeply personal testimony shaped by seasons of doubt, waiting, healing, faith, and gratitude.
Songs like “Ask Him Again” and “Living Room Floor” emerge from wrestling honestly with the realities of following Jesus through both uncertainty and hope, while “Do It Afraid” is a bold reminder to move forward in faith even when fear remains. “Borrow Mine” speaks to the comfort of community, “Water Into Wine”, featuring Seph Schlueter, celebrates redemption and transformation, and “Revenge” turns the idea of retaliation on its head by exploring forgiveness as the ultimate response.
