Scout and the Saints

Scout and the Saints is an Alternative Christian Rock Band comprised of Scout Butler (Lead Vocal, Bass), Alec Butler (Drums), and Ryan Huston (Guitar). Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, the band testifies of the goodness of God through their music. Scout and the Saints bring Southern twang, grunge rock, and outlaw country together in a unique conglomeration of sound that impacts the listener. Their high energy live performance is full of testimony, joy, and grit.

The founder of the band, Scout Butler, knew from a very young age that she wanted to make music. Following in the footsteps of her father, Mac Powell of Third Day, she grew up in and around the music industry. She loved being on tour with her dad as a young girl, and she now plays bass in her dad’s band. Scout and the Saints band members Scout and Alec Butler have had the honor of being in bands for several CCM artists such as Mac Powell, Cochren and Co., Tasha Layton, David Leonard, Matt Maher, and now enjoy taking what they have learned from these great artists and putting it into Scout and the Saints.

The band members all met in college at Liberty University. Originally all from the far ends of the country (California, Chicago, and Atlanta), the band is grateful to God for bringing them all together. Each member brings a unique influence and sound to the band which in turn creates a fresh new sound to the Christian music industry.
