Red Worship is the musical expression of Redemption Church in San José, California. With roots stretching back over three decades under the leadership of Pastors Ron and Hope Carpenter, the group has grown into a dynamic worship movement marked by compelling sound, collaborative artistry, and a deep commitment to releasing the Kingdom message. From its earliest days, Redemption has held fast to the belief that “sound precedes movement” that the songs a community sings set the tone for the revival it experiences. Red Worship carries that mantle forward, crafting music and moments designed to usher in God’s presence and inspire transformation.
Unlike a traditional band with a single front voice, Red Worship is a collective of worship leaders, artists, and creatives who together shape its identity. At the forefront are voices like Lizzie Morgan, Trinity Anderson, Jonathan Traylor, Jonathan Stamper, and Andrew Maldonado who bring their own styles and testimonies to the sound. Behind them stands a team of writers, producers, pastors, and creatives who serve not only to release songs but to build entire worship environments: spaces where people can encounter God in powerful ways.
The group’s collaborative dynamic has yielded projects that have quickly resonated with audiences worldwide. Their 2024 release How He Reveals introduced a fresh sound and featured a wide array of leaders, while their 2025 album Presence People expanded that vision across thirteen tracks, showcasing the full breadth of the collective’s talent. Songs like “Forgive and Forget” have gained millions of views, while their live videos and social content reach over 600,000 people each month.
What sets Red Worship apart is not only their sound but their philosophy. They believe worship is both a sound and a movement; an active response that prepares hearts and communities for God’s work. Every song is written with the church in mind, designed to be both deeply personal and accessible for corporate worship. Their music bridges the gap between local church worship and the broader Christian music culture, demonstrating that songs born in a single house can echo globally.
Today, Red Worship stands as more than just a worship team; they are a movement. Rooted in their local church yet reaching far beyond its walls, their mission is clear: to release the sound of revival, to carry God’s presence through music, and to invite people everywhere into deeper encounter with Him.
