SHOUTfest is excited to partner with Fervent Records and Band with a Mission for the 2006 "SHOUTfest's Band With A Mission" National Talent Contest. The only Christian music talent competition where you have the chance to win a deal with Fervent Records, a booking conract, a management contract and a sPot on SHOUTfest 2007! So how does it work? Each city will hold a local talent contest about 2 weeks before their SHOUTfest date. The top 3 rated performers will be chosen to compete to become the city winner. The day of the city's SHOUTfest the 3 top rated bands from the local contest compete on stage, in front of the SHOUTfest crowd and are judged by industry representatives. The highest rated band becomes the city winner and moves on to perform in Nashville for the chance at becoming the National Winner. Each of the 20-25 city winners will come to Nashville and compete in front of Fervent Records and other industry executives. Fervent Records will choose and announce the National Winner that evening! In exchange for your registration fee , you'll receive 25 tickets to SHOUTfest (which you can resell at face value to your friends and family) and an A&R evaluation of your performance at the local talent contest.
